Where Does Lilac Hedge Farm Deliver?

We do home delivery via our own staff and delivery vehicles in most towns in Worcester, Essex, Middlesex, Suffolk, Norfolk, and Barnstable counties. Log in to your account and enter your zip code when prompted and you will be assigned to the day we deliver to your area (deliveries are scheduled Tuesday through Friday based on location).  All orders must be confirmed by Sunday at midnight for delivery that week.

Meat Delivery to the East Coast

Towns that are not colored in on our map are delivered by UPS Ground. This includes the western parts of Massachusetts not shown on this map as well.  We deliver as far west as Ohio and as far south as South Carolina (see those states below). Only a few locations within this shipping area are unavailable due to shipping restrictions.  We ship to Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Connecticut, Rhode Island, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware, Virginia, West Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Ohio, and Indiana. 

Any order placed by Sunday of each week will be shipped out by Tuesday with guaranteed delivery by Friday.

Home Delivery FAQs

Q: Are items delivered fresh or frozen?

A: Our meat and seafood are delivered frozen to best preserve the quality of the product. We carefully pack meat in insulated boxes with frozen ice packs or dry ice. Refrigerated items (i.e. eggs, produce) are only available for local Home Delivery in the blue-shaded areas above.  If possible, have a cooler available for our staff to place your perishable item(s) inside.

Q: How do I pay for my home delivery order?

A: All orders for home delivery require payment online with a debit or credit card at the time of purchase.  Your card is charged when your items have been selected and weighed, usually the day before your delivery. We now accept EBT/SNAP to set up your account please email us at info@lilachedgefarm.com.

Q: What time will my order be delivered?

A: Our contact-free deliveries typically occur between 8am - 6pm EST. Shipped deliveries will occur during standard UPS delivery times.  We cannot provide a delivery time window for shipped orders.

Q: What if an item I ordered is out of stock?

A: We do our best to fulfill all orders as submitted. Any unavailable product will be removed from your order before you're charged.

Q: When is my credit card charged?

A: Your card is charged once your order has been packed. At the time your card is charged you will receive an email with your final receipt.

Q: What if my meat has thawed a bit?

A: This may happen from time to time, especially during warmer times of the year! Not to worry, as long as your meat is still refrigerator cold (41 degrees or less) it is perfectly fine. Because all of our meat is vacuum sealed, it is no problem to pop that meat directly into the freezer.

Q: When will my order be delivered?

A: We make deliveries each week at the schedule outlined above. You will receive an estimated delivery date at checkout and confirmed delivery date upon placing your order.

Q: Do I have to be home to receive my order?

A: No, you do not! If you receive your order through our in-house home delivery, our drivers will alert you via email once your order has been delivered. Once you do arrive home we ask that you would unpack your items as soon as you are able.

Q: Is there an order minimum?

A: Yes. There is $75 minimum for home delivery, and $100 minimum for shipping orders to ensure we have enough product in your box to maintain a safe shipping temperature. Note: All orders of $159+ qualify for Free Delivery.

Q: Where does Lilac Hedge Farm Deliver?

A: Currently we use our in-house delivery vans to service Central Mass., Greater Boston, and much of Cape Cod. We also ship our Black Angus Beef, pastured chicken, pork, and more with UPS Ground to Western Massachusetts, Bristol County, Plymouth County, Connecticut, Delaware, Indiana, Maine, Maryland, New Hampshire, New York, New Jersey, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Virginia, Washington D.C., and West Virginia.

Q: My Order is being shipped, will I receive a tracking code?

A: Yes! Once we generate the label for shipping, you will receive a separate email from UPS with a tracking code allowing you to track your order throughout transit.

Q: How do I know my meat will arrive safely?

A: Items are vacuum-sealed in BPA-free packaging for safe transit. We use extra insulation in our boxes as well as vapor barriers and cold packs or dry ice to ensure longer holding times.
