Each piece of our uncured corned beef brisket cuts weigh on average 3-4 lbs. If you prefer a smaller or larger size, please indicate that in the open comment field area right before you place your order so our packing crew can best accommodate your request.

This year we are offering the traditional corned brisket (this item) as well as a round cut for those seeking a leaner cut of beef. Many people prepare corned beef boiled for a traditional boiled dinner. Some of our staff has shared they like to use the oven method which includes searing the brisket and then placing it in a pot with vegetables and cooking liquid of choice, then roasting it in the oven at 275° for nearly 6 hours.  The long cooking time helps to break down the meat and create a tender, flavorful meal. 

We recommend buying an extra for the freezer; corned beef is delicious in so many dishes: sandwiches, corned beef hash, Reuben strata, or even a corned beef meat pie! Heidi likes to use it to make a shepherd's pie in place of ground beef or lamb.
